The Bradenton Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last night in the 700 block of 17th Street E. At approximately 8:45 PM on Thursday, Officers responded to multiple reports of a shooting. Once on scene, Officers located a 64-year-old male victim, deceased. 

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Task Force, Bradenton Police Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, the State Attorney’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office all responded to the scene.  

Detectives are working several leads in this case however no further information is available at this time regarding potential suspects or vehicles involved.
