Arrest Made in March 2023 Armed Home Invasion Robbery

Bradenton Police detectives have arrested James Flowers, Jr., 37, in connection to the March 3, 2023, armed home invasion robbery in the 400 block of Cantabria Trail. Flowers (seen wearing green gloves) and two other suspects entered the victim’s residence, ransacked the home, and stole jewelry, cash, and a cell phone. Two adults and three children were in the home.
Detectives issued arrest warrants for Flowers in September 2023. He was taken into custody in Tampa by the U.S. Marshals Service on January 12, 2024, and has since been transferred to the Manatee County jail. He is charged with armed home invasion and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
This investigation is ongoing.
